From The Product Team

  • We're happy to introduce LookingGlass Suite as the new single sign-on solution for scoutPRIME.

What's New

1. New login portal

Users can now log in to the platform via the scoutPRIME login portal or the LookingGlass Suite login portal. For more information, click here.

2. New User Management feature

User Management features will be reduced within scoutPRIME as now most of the management will be done through LookingGlass Suite, including:

  • Adding new users

  • Updating users

  • Changing user roles

  • Disabling users

  • Editing licenses

  • Removing users (permanently)

  • Resetting user passwords

Users with Admin privileges will still be able to use scoutPRIME to add users to Groups, create Groups and create Workspaces in their organization

Users will still be listed in the Admin section of scoutPRIME

3. API Documentation is now available online.

API Changes

Due to SSO/SUITE authentication, the following scoutPRIME API endpoints have been deprecated:
​

  • /auth/login

  • /auth/logout

  • /users/create

  • /users/set-password

  • /users/update

Due to SSO/SUITE authentication, the following scoutPRIME API endpoint have been restricted (see API documentation):
​

  • /organizations/provision

Bug Fix:

  • Search errors

Enhancements:

  • scoutPRIME data backup improvements

Feature:

  • Access to API documentation and improvements.

  • A bug creating multiple errors when using search was fixed.

  • scoutPRIME is now using a more robust data backup system.

  • scoutPRIME API documentation can now be temporarily accessed through the LookingGlass Knowledge Base.

    Endpoints have been updated with new endpoints added, as well as removal of deprecated ones.

Bug Fix:

  • Collection Description not displaying

  • "Invalid Query" error persists

  • No product name on open web browser tabs

  • A bug that kept the Description for a Collection from displaying has been fixed.

  • An "Invalid Query" error will no longer display after a valid query has been entered.

  • "scoutPRIME" now displays in open web browser tabs for users to know which product's page they're on.

  • Inferno as FQDN & CIDR Owner in Results

  • Addressed a bug where the invalid CIDR 0.0.0.0/0 was added to the system causing incorrect ownership information to appear in certain cases. The offending data is being removed.
